Online booking platform Travelstart have announced the appointment of Oluwakemi Ojo as the new Head of Communications for Nigerian operations. Her appointment will be effective by 1st July 2015.
Oluwakemi who holds a BSc (hons) in Computing from the Open University, UK was previously the content manager at Travelstart since 2013 and has brought a wealth of digital experience to the position. According to Russell Jarvis, Head of communications for Travelstart global, “Oluwakemi’s previous experience and track record at Travelstart Nigeria made her an easy choice for this role as we strengthen our position as the leading travel website in Nigeria, and on the continent,” He further stated that “She will be key in aligning strategy and achieving more for Travelstart’s profile on an international level.”
Prior to joining Travelstart, Oluwakemi has worked at Crown Resource Solutions, Helium.com, Abinibi Multimedia and Skillz magazine.
