Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has launched its Vivo X200 series in China. This new series includes three models: Vivo X200, Vivo X200 Pro, and Vivo X200 Pro Mini. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, these smartphones feature camera systems co-engineered with Zeiss. Although the global release is not yet confirmed, the Vivo X200 series is expected to launch in India by late 2024 or early 2025.
Key Features of the Vivo X200 Series
The Vivo X200 series introduces MediaTek’s next-generation flagship processor, the Dimensity 9400, making it the first smartphone series to use this technology. Alongside the base and Pro models, Vivo has launched a new Pro Mini variant, offering variety to consumers. All three smartphones are available in four colours: Carbon Black, Titanium Grey, Moonlight White, and Sapphire Blue.
The Vivo X200 comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, while the Pro and Pro Mini models offer slightly different sizes—6.78-inch and 6.31-inch, respectively. All three models support a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4500 nits. However, the Pro models feature Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide (LTPO) technology, allowing dynamic refresh rate adjustments.
Performance and Storage Options
In terms of performance, the Vivo X200 series offers impressive specs. Each model comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring fast performance and ample storage space. Notably, the Vivo X200 Pro offers a 1TB variant with satellite communication capabilities and LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM for enhanced multitasking.

One of the standout features of the Vivo X200 is the camera system. All models include a 50MP Sony LYT-818 primary camera with optical image stabilization. Additionally, they feature a 50MP ultra-wide camera using the Samsung JN1 sensor. The Vivo X200 Pro goes further with a 200MP telephoto camera, offering 3.7x zoom, while the Pro Mini and base models have a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom. A 32MP front-facing camera is available on all models for stunning selfies.
