The Vice President of Huawei Ken Hu has called for an integrated global ecosystem. According to him, the restrictions placed on the company’s operations are unjustified and are based on unfounded allegations.
Speaking at the Potsdam National Cybersecurity Conference, Hu noted that its predicament goes against the values of the international business community, disrupts the global supply chain and impedes fair competition in the marketplace.
“This could happen to any other industry and business in the future, if we do not tackle these problems together,” Hu said.
“We do not want to build a new wall on a commercial level, nor do we want to build a new wall on a technological level.
“We need an integrated global ecosystem that can help us promote faster technological innovation and stronger economic growth. In the end, it is on this principle that we must rely to maintain a prosperous human society.”
