It’s just a few days to the release of Windows 10 and in that time, it has been confirmed that the OS will not be coming with a few features that Windows 8 and 8.1 users love. One of this the inability for the OS to sync the start screen and apps between Windows devices. This is a huge bother for a number of people but here is why….
The new Windows 10 Start Menu is based on XAML and it’s being supported by a couple of new APIs that are available only on Windows 10, which is one of the main reasons why Microsoft isn’t adding the sync feature to the start screen.
According to the company’s spokesperson, this feature will be missing because, there will be a lot of devices with different sized screens and it may cause the start menu to look bad on some devices. This means that if you have a 10 inch device and purchase a larger screen in future, the start menu may look bad on the bigger display.
What we can’t completely comprehend at this time is why Microsoft cannot just have an option that enables this feature for users who wish to sync their screen between their devices. Is this a major turn off for you? Let’s discuss.
