Uber has now made it possible for us to track our loved ones when they’re taking a ride in an Uber car with the help of Trip tracker. The new Trip Tracker feature allows you to follow the progress of a loved ones’ Uber trip on the map.
This update is a feature connected to Uber’s Family Profiles – a feature Uber unveiled in March which allows customers to pay for rides for their loved ones. With the Family Profile feature, a group of up to ten people can register as a family so that all trips taken by members of the group are billed to the same payment card.
This improvement sounds really cool as it is expected to save us from having to make several phone calls or send many messages just to keep track of our loved while they’re on a trip.
To enjoy this feature just get the latest version of the Uber app and set up your family profile and you are good to go.
