Your Glitter iPhone Case Could Ruin Your Makeup

Glitter looks fab until it starts to ruin things, like the iPhone glitter phone cases that have taken over the market.

Over the years different iPhone cases have been released, each to support the latest fashion trend.

Apparently, if the sparkly liquid inside the cases makes contact with your skin, it can cause some very bad chemical burns. According to reports, the cases have already been linked to 24 burn injuries around the world.

Although many of these cases were sold under popular brand names, like Victoria’s Secret and Tory Burch, the cases are reportedly being made by a company called MixBin, with an estimate of at least 263,000 of the accessories being sold between October 2015 and June 2017.

Only recently, a lady from New Zealand made a public complaint on Facebook where she stated that she got her butt burnt pretty badly after her glitter case got a little crack that she hadn’t noticed earlier in the day;

According to reports by dailymail.co.uk, there were replies from others who had experienced the same where one person also stated that although there was no liquid in hers, she could smell petrol on the pouch.
